Akkodis is seeking a Sr Applications Development Analyst for a Contract with a client in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate will support and optimize mission-critical IT/OT infrastructure for a leading semiconductor manufacturing site, ensuring reliable server, virtualization, and containerized application operations.

Rate Range: $70/Hour to $75/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Applications Development Analyst Responsibilities include:

• Architect, deploy, and support mission-critical IT/OT infrastructure for semiconductor manufacturing operations.

• Administer and optimize Windows, Linux, VMware, and hyper-converged server environments to ensure high availability and performance.

• Deploy, manage, and support Kubernetes and Docker-based container platforms for modern application workloads.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, virtualization, and network issues while maintaining operational continuity in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and corporate IT teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions.

• Maintain infrastructure documentation, cybersecurity compliance, backup strategies, and disaster recovery processes to support business-critical operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure in mission-critical production environments.

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, RHEL Linux, VMware vSphere/vSAN, virtualization technologies, and Kubernetes/Docker container platforms.

• Strong knowledge of network fundamentals, cybersecurity standards, infrastructure automation, disaster recovery, and system documentation practices.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
