An experienced real estate attorney is sought to join a growing real estate practice at Senior Associate, Counsel, or Non-Equity Partner level. The role focuses on complex commercial leasing matters, advising landlords, tenants, developers, and property owners on strategic real estate transactions.

Description
Advise clients on a range of real estate transactions and legal matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements, including leases, purchase agreements, and financing documents.
Provide strategic counsel on real estate development projects and acquisitions.
Conduct due diligence and risk analysis for real estate deals.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage and mentor junior legal team members, fostering professional growth.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings as required.
Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate law and industry practices.
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admitted and in good standing to practice law in New York.
Ideally around 10 years' experience in real estate law.
A strong background in real estate law, with hands-on experience in transactions and advisory work.
Must have substantial leasing experience.
Exceptional skills in drafting and negotiating legal documents related to real estate.
Solid understanding of legal and regulatory compliance within the Real Estate sector.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
