Sr Associate, Quality Engineer (Rochester, NY)Job DescriptionDevelop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analysesCollaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executedDetermine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as neededWrite inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositionsAnalyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areasServe as primary customer Quality interface which may include having to conduct customer business briefingsQualificationsTo be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Master's Degree in Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or have completed their Master's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or simulation tools like Arena, CAD, and/or AutoCADIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $62,000 - $115,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
