Job Details

Responsibilities
Independently manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution.
Develop and execute strategic legal plans tailored to client objectives.
Maintain strong, compassionate communication with clients throughout their matters.
Collaborate with and mentor paralegals and support staff to ensure high-quality work product.
Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, discovery, and other legal documents with precision and accuracy.
Conduct legal research and prepare thoroughly for hearings, mediations, and trials.
Represent clients confidently in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Manage deadlines, case strategy, and competing priorities effectively.
Delegate and oversee work completed by support staff and junior legal professionals.


Qualifications
Licensed attorney in the State of Georgia.
Minimum of 5+ years of family law experience.
Proven litigation and courtroom experience, including:

• Bench trials
• Jury trials
• Motion hearings
• Temporary Protective Orders (TPOs)
• Legitimation actions
• Modifications
• Contempt actions
• Contested adoptions
• Divorce proceedings

Strong negotiation, client counseling, and case management abilities.
Experience supervising, mentoring, or directing support staff and junior attorneys preferred.
Proficiency with Clio or comparable legal case management platforms.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and strategic-thinking skills.
Demonstrated commitment to helping clients through difficult life transitions.
