Sr. Automation Engineer

Job description: Here are some of the key attributes we are looking for in this resource.
 
  1. Design & Architecture Principals of CygNet SCADA Systems, FMS, & ForeSite (All Weatherford Systems) Wonderware System experience is secondary.
  2. DCS, Plant Control or PLC experience.
  3. Lift Optimization Experience (LOWIS, XSPOC, FORESITE)
  4. Measurement System Experience (FMS, FLOWCAL)
  5. Oil & Gas Experience around implementing & maintaining SCADA systems
  6. SCADA Polling Engines (CygNet, Kepware) and Historians (CygNet, PI, SQL, Canary)
  7. Experience with interfacing SCADA systems with other production and reporting systems.
  8. Familiarity with multiple RTUs and PLCs (TotalFlow, Emerson, Allen Bradley, Siemens)
  9. Use of RTU tool suites (PCCU, RocLink)
  10. VB/VBScript/.NET/Python/REST API programming experience
  11. SQL Experience- write and read
  12. Communication principals Ethernet/TCP, MODBUS, RS-232, RS-485
  13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  14. Ability to coordinate large projects as well as prioritize workload.
  15. 4-year degree- big plus
  16. Willing to travel 15% of the time.


Sr can implement and maintain systems.
Sr has experience programming new code in multiple languages.
Sr has knowledge of how to integrate SCADA with other systems.
Sr is expected to be able to coordinate larger projects and prioritize workload.
