JD for Sr. Automation Tester

Senior Automation Tester (7+ Years) - Hospitality Domain

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with 7+ years of experience in test automation, manual/functional testing, and strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute automation test cases, manual/functional tests, and end-to-end workflows
  • Create test scenarios, test scripts, and test data for complex business processes
  • Develop and maintain automation tests using:

o JUnit 5

o Mockito for mocking dependencies

o @WebMvcTest for Spring MVC controller testing

o @MockBean for Spring context-based tests

  • Perform API, UI, integration, and regression testing
  • Identify defects, log them clearly, and drive them to closure with developers
  • Prepare detailed test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and traceability matrices
  • Work closely with business teams in the hospitality domain to validate revenue, pricing, and reservation workflows
  • Provide accurate status reporting and communication to stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices

Required Skills

  • 7+ years in QA/testing (automation + manual/functional)
  • Strong expertise in JUnit 5, Mockito, @WebMvcTest, @MockBean
  • Experience designing test suites, writing scripts, and managing test data
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting abilities
  • Hospitality/Hotel domain experience; revenue management knowledge is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
  • SQL knowledge for test data validation
