    Sr Avionics Engineer - Seattle WA - June 2026

    We are seeking an Avionics Engineer for our client in Seattle WA working in the Space Sector. The Avionics Engineer role is responsible for the design, development, and integration of electrical systems supporting advanced data center satellites. You will collaborate with software, mechanical, solar, and propulsion engineers to develop solutions that meet rigorous performance standards for space applications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, simulate, and test electrical hardware, PCBs, and harnesses for satellite and laser subsystems.

    • Drive cross-functional integration (software, mechanical, thermal) and support space-qualification environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, EMI).

    • Author comprehensive technical documentation and participate in critical design reviews.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

    • 5+ years of electrical design experience.

    • Proficiency in ECAD tools (Altium, OrCAD) and circuit simulation (LTspice).

    • Hands-on lab experience for troubleshooting and debugging (oscilloscopes, signal generators).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MS in Electrical Engineering.

    • Applied experience in aerospace, satellite power distribution, or accelerated computing systems.

    • Deep understanding of space qualification standards and sensor integration.
