The Senior Sales Representative is a critical customer-facing role within Martin Energy Services (MES), responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key marine and offshore clients. This role requires deep knowledge of marine fuel products, lubricants, bunkering logistics, and vessel operations. The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for securing spot and term supply agreements to Customers, identifying & develop market opportunities, and work closely with our supply, operations, and technical teams to deliver value-added service to the Customer. The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining Customer sales system data with the accounting group such that development of Customer performance presentations can be made to the management team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain strong relationships with vessel operators, offshore service companies, brokers, and key accounts.
Develop and execute territory sales plans to increase market share and profitability.
Negotiate Customer supply contracts and coordinate product delivery from terminal to end user.
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and product availability across assigned regions.
Provide guidance on marine lubricants and assist Customers with technical support and OEM compliance.
Collaborate internally with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
Attend industry functions and represent MES at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to overall commercial strategy.

Job Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
A Bachelors Degree or equivalent
5 to 10 years experience in marine fuel, bunkering, or lubricant sales or equivalent areas of sales.
Deep knowledge of marine fuel grades and lubrication requirements.
Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships and closing large commercial agreements.
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working with vessel owners/operators, offshore fleets, or marine fuel brokers.
Exposure to operations in the Gulf of America, U.S. Gulf Coast ports, or international shipping hubs.
Technical understanding of marine lubricants and their applications.
