In this highly visible leadership role, you will be responsible for modernizing and expanding brands through consumer-driven marketing, innovation, household penetration growth, and strong financial stewardship. You will own business performance across a broad channel footprint—including Walmart, Dollar, eCommerce, Pet Specialty, Grocery, and Club—and play a key role in helping transform our pet business into a significant growth engine.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces innovation, and is motivated to make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

Brand Strategy & Growth Leadership

  • Develop and execute annual business plans and long-term growth strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profit objectives.

  • Identify growth opportunities by leveraging consumer insights, category trends, and competitive intelligence.

  • Drive sustainable brand growth through innovation, adjacent category expansion, and strategic household penetration initiatives.

  • Own and manage brand P&L performance, ensuring financial accountability and profitable growth.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, advertising programs, promotional initiatives, and creative platforms.

  • Strengthen brand positioning, design systems, and messaging to build meaningful differentiation and brand equity.

  • Monitor marketing performance, measure ROI, and continuously optimize plans to maximize effectiveness.

  • Develop compelling brand stories that resonate with both retailers and consumers.

Innovation & Commercial Execution

  • Lead the development and commercialization of new products and innovations.

  • Create comprehensive launch plans that deliver against growth objectives and market opportunities.

  • Partner with Sales to develop category-focused selling stories, innovation pipelines, and retailer growth strategies.

  • Prioritize initiatives effectively in a fast-moving environment while ensuring resources are aligned to deliver results.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Sales, Finance, Operations, Insights & Analytics, and Commercial Strategy teams through the Integrated Business Planning process.

  • Translate insights and analytics into actionable business strategies and growth initiatives.

  • Influence decision-making across the organization through strong communication and leadership.

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketing professionals.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

  • Build organizational capability by developing talent and creating future marketing leaders.

  • Proficiency with Nielsen and/or IRI syndicated data and market analytics tools.

  • Strong understanding of marketing, advertising, consumer communications, promotions, and commercialization processes.

  • Demonstrated success managing brands to volume, revenue, and profit targets.

  • Experience launching new products and driving growth through both innovation and core business initiatives.

  • Strong strategic, analytical, financial, and leadership capabilities.
