Position Summary

The Senior Brand Manager, Air Frying leads the global center of excellence (COE) for the air frying category across Newell Brands portfolio. Based on the Oster team and reporting to the Senior Brand Director, Oster, this role owns the global category strategy, innovation pipeline and cross-regional execution for all brands competing in air frying.

This is a senior, high-visibility role for a category expert who combines deep consumer and market knowledge with the commercial instincts to build competitive, profitable products at scale. The Senior Brand Manager leads and develops a Brand Manager direct report and is the primary global partner for regional brand teams on everything related to the air frying category.

The ideal candidate brings at least 6 years of brand management or category leadership experience, a track record of launching innovation across multiple markets and the ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy & Intelligence

• Own the global air frying category strategy, tracking consumer trends, competitive dynamics, emerging technology and market white space across all regions
• Translate category intelligence into actionable recommendations for regional brand teams, ensuring plans are grounded in data and aligned with each brands positioning and architecture
• Serve as the organizations foremost expert on the air frying consumer globally, partnering with Consumer Insights to design research that sharpens the COEs point of view

Global Innovation Leadership

• Lead the global air frying innovation pipeline from opportunity identification through commercial launch - including concept development, business case creation and full go-to-market execution
• Define product features, technology priorities and specification direction based on competitive benchmarking, consumer insight and financial modeling
• Balance short-term revenue contribution with longer-term category leadership in pipeline decisions

Regional Collaboration & Enablement

• Serve as the primary global connection point for regional and country brand teams competing in air frying across Latin America, UK and Australia/New Zealand
• Provide brand teams with category-grounded recommendations - ensuring global innovation plans account for each brands unique positioning and market context without owning the positioning itself
• Communicate regularly with regional teams to align on pipeline status, launch timelines and category priorities

Commercial Execution & P&L

• Manage the global air frying category P&L with a clear focus on gross margin expansion and profitability
• Partner with Sales, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain and Region Teams to deliver innovation on time and on brief
• Leverage POS, e-commerce, consumer research and digital analytics to monitor category performance and identify growth opportunities
• Contribute to the global annual brand planning process with category input and pipeline recommendations

Team Leadership

• Directly manage and develop a Brand Manager, Air Frying COE, providing coaching, clear priorities and ongoing feedback
• Create a high-performance team environment built on category expertise, speed and strong cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• 6+ years of brand management, category management or innovation leadership experience in consumer goods or small home appliances
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-market innovation projects from concept to shelf
• P&L management experience with a track record of margin-accretive innovation
• Strong analytical skills: comfortable translating market data, consumer research and financial models into clear recommendations
• Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire direct reports
• Effective communicator and collaborator in a global, matrixed organization
• Fluency in Spanish a plus given the weight of the Latin America business
