Job Summary
The Senior Business Systems Analyst, Oracle Fusion - Order to Cash plays a key role in supporting, optimizing, and enhancing Oracle Fusion Order to Cash (O2C) processes across the organization. This position serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions that support critical commercial and financial operations.
The incumbent is responsible for leveraging strong functional expertise across the O2C lifecycle, combined with business analysis capabilities and technical understanding of Oracle Fusion integrations, reporting, and configuration. This role partners cross-functionally to improve processes, resolve complex business challenges, and support ongoing system enhancements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as the functional subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Order to Cash processes, including:
Order Management
Pricing
Inventory and Shipping
Accounts Receivable
Credit Management
Collections
Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current-state processes, and design future-state solutions that improve efficiency, controls, and user experience.
Translates business requirements into functional specifications and supports technical solution design and delivery.
Configures Oracle Fusion applications in alignment with business requirements and system best practices.
Supports end-to-end testing activities, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
Collaborates with Finance, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and IT teams to ensure alignment across business processes.
Supports data conversion, cutover planning, deployment readiness, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
Partners with technical teams supporting:
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
REST / SOAP APIs
FBDI / HDL data loads
Reviews and validates technical design documents to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Supports reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher.
Troubleshoots system, integration, configuration, and transactional issues across O2C processes.
Supports Oracle quarterly releases, patches, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintains system documentation including configurations, process flows, test scripts, and validation records as required.
Performs root cause analysis and implements sustainable corrective actions.
Ensures solutions align with internal controls, compliance requirements, and established governance standards.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise Oracle applications as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Consultant.
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Order to Cash modules.
Experience supporting at least one full-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation.
Strong understanding of the Order to Cash lifecycle, including:
Quote to Order
Order to Ship
Invoice to Cash
Revenue recognition impacts
Experience gathering business requirements, documenting process flows, and developing functional specifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications in Order Management, Financials, or related modules.
Experience supporting global, multi-organization, or multi-currency environments.
Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with CRM, WMS, legacy ERP, or other enterprise platforms.
Experience in SOX-controlled, FDA-regulated, medical device, or other highly regulated environments.
Consulting or systems integrator experience.
Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Language requirements
Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $120,000 - $170,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment and requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other digital devices is required. This role may require standing for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking through facilities.
