Description

As a Business Analyst III, you'll support our Department of the Air Force (DAF) customer at Joint Base Andrews (with visits to the Pentagon up to 10%). This full-time, onsite role will play a key role in improving DAF business operations by developing enterprise-level performance measures, analyzing performance data, and connecting business function performance to readiness outcomes. This role will provide senior leaders with executive-level reporting, actionable recommendations, and guidance on performance improvement priorities.

What you'll do:

  • Support the oversight and improvement of DAF business operations by connecting performance metrics, business functions, resource investments, policies, and risk management to readiness outcomes.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain enterprise-level performance metrics and measurement frameworks for DAF business operations, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, readiness outcomes, and performance standards.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, outliers, correlations, and performance drivers, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Produce executive-level reports, dashboards, briefing materials, decision papers, and performance summaries that clearly communicate performance results, risks, gaps, and recommended actions.
  • Advise customers and senior leaders on performance management, organizational improvement, and continuous-improvement practices used by leading public- and private-sector organizations.
  • Evaluate and prioritize performance improvement initiatives based on their anticipated readiness impact, strategic alignment, feasibility, resource requirements, and ability to close identified performance gaps.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of professional experience in performance management, organizational performance improvement, strategic management, management consulting, business operations, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, organizational management, economics, operations research, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, or evaluating performance management frameworks, performance measures, or performance baselines.
  • Experience supporting the DoW, DAF, or other military department, or a comparable federal organization.

SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $130,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

  • The candidate''s professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Company-paid training and/or certifications
  • Referral bonuses
