Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams during enterprise legacy system modernization initiatives. The role is responsible for analyzing current business processes, gathering and documenting functional requirements, identifying process improvements, and translating business needs into technical solutions that support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze legacy systems and identify business process improvements.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

• Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements sessions.

• Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).

• Document current-state and future-state business processes.

• Create use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.

• Develop test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Perform business process mapping and gap analysis.

• Manage requirement changes, priorities, and scope throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful solution implementation.

• Validate delivered solutions meet business requirements and stakeholder expectations.

• Support project planning, implementation, and post-deployment activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between business users and development teams.

• Assist with business process improvement initiatives.

• Support change management and user adoption activities.

• Maintain project documentation and requirements traceability.

• Participate in project status meetings and stakeholder presentations.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of Business Analyst experience.

• Experience analyzing legacy systems and modernization initiatives.

• Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.

• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions.

• Experience preparing:

  • Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

  • Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)

• Experience documenting current-state and future-state business processes.

• Experience developing use cases and test cases.

• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Strong business process mapping and workflow analysis skills.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience translating abstract business concepts into structured requirements.

• Project management experience.

• PMP Certification.

• Experience supporting enterprise modernization projects.

• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Experience with process improvement initiatives.

Education:

• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) Preferred
