The ideal candidate has strong experience with Tableau development, data modeling, SQL, and BI best practices, along with the ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable visualizations.  Responsible for leading the design and support of commercial business intelligence applications and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and support of commercial business intelligence applications and architecture.
• Working with commercial and sales operations business partners to understand and prioritize data and information requirements.
• Solving complex technical problems.
• Optimizing the performance of business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to users.
• Creating testing methodology and criteria.
• Designing and coordinating a curriculum for coaching and training customers in using business intelligence tools to enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Developing standards, policies, and procedures for the form, structure, and attributes of business intelligence tools and systems.
• Developing data and information quality metrics.
• Researching new technology and developing business cases to supporting enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.
• Adapting precedents and making significant departures from traditional approaches to developing solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data architecture, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data querying, and data visualization tools.
• Proven ability to optimize BI tools through performance tuning, data filtering, and indexing.
• Skilled in developing data quality metrics and ensuring high data integrity.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and business analysis capabilities.
• Experience with data modeling and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with BI platforms and related technology research.
• Ability to design and deliver user training and support sessions
