Overview

Tanaq Support Services (TSS) delivers professional, scientific, and technical services and information technology (IT) solutions to federal agencies in health, agriculture, technology, and other government services. TSS is a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation, an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) committed to serving Federal customers while also giving back to the Tanaq native community and shareholders.

About the Role

We are seeking a Sr. Business Process Consultant to provide support to our federal government customer. This role will analyze and improve organizational processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity on SharePoint, PowerApps and other technical solutions.

The Sr. Business Process Consultant will focus on identifying current and future process improvements aligned with program goals and requirements. This role will be responsible for capturing, documenting and interpreting detailed stakeholder requirements for site functionality and its components as it relates to interfacing systems.

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be located in the United States.

Responsibilities

+ Research and analyze complex issues.

+ Analyze and document full business processes and assist technology teams in building requirements specifications for automating these processes.

+ Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

+ Develop and implement process improvement strategies per the Statement of Work (SOW).

+ Develop and maintain process flow maps and SOPs to ensure standardization and consistency across projects.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process changes are implemented effectively.

+ Monitor and report on the effectiveness of process improvements.

+ Provide training and support to staff on new processes and procedures including user guides.

+ Communicate process changes and updates to stakeholders.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Experience and Skills

+ At least 8 years of experience in business process analysis or related fields.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Experience working with agile methodologies.

+ Excellent communication skills e.g., writing, editing and interpersonal collaboration.

+ Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools.

+ Ability to pass required Federal background screening, obtain and maintain government clearance.

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Experience and Skills

+ Recent experience supporting CDC highly desired.

+ Experience in Microsoft SharePoint and Power Application frameworks.

+ Familiarity with government frameworks such as EPLC.

+ Familiarity with predictive analytics tools to inform process improvements and decision-making.

Education and Training

+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, computer science, information technology, or related field required.

Physical Requirements

+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

+ May need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
