Primary Purpose


Develop, manage, and evaluate key projects/programs/initiatives from planning to post implementation phases as required. Develop business plans, project charters, and performance metrics in support of business objectives. Ensure organizational alignment with management models and principles and drive the integration of best practices. Perform various assignments including requests for financial and operational reports, data analysis and modeling, business planning, and/or performance measurement. Coordinate quality assurance and/or change management activities with internal and external personnel. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.


Primary Duties


+ Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of projects, programs, and/or business initiatives. Provide requirements analysis, performance measurement, and quality assurance. Manage scope, schedule, and budget for organizational projects and programs. 20%

+ Coordinate and report on process/project/initiative assignments. Develop performance indicators and tracking mechanisms to monitor and report results. Prepare, review, and analyze reports, controls, and other financial & operational information for specific projects and initiatives. 20%

+ Coordinate work plans to implement corrective actions that are identified as a result of performance assessment.10%

+ Support the establishment of business plans and objectives across multiple areas / departments. Coordinate with stakeholders on the development of business cases and prioritization of deliverables.10%

+ Lead change management activities for projects, programs, and initiatives. Develop and implement training of employees and external personnel for new processes and procedures. Develop and implement effective business readiness procedures. 10%

+ Participate in process improvement task forces. Provide benchmarking analysis. Prepare status reports to leadership. Understand business processes and provide guidance for end users. Provide day-to-day client support and conduct diagnostics as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Assist and advise other personnel with responses to internal and external inquiries.


Job Scope


+ This is an individual contributor position that works independently with only general direction, relying on knowledge skills and judgment acquired through education and relevant experience to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. The position regularly mentors less experienced colleagues.

+ Lead reporting and analytics efforts, leveraging Power BI to track performance metrics, maintenance activities, and financials.

+ Manage Hut/Cabinet maintenance tracking, ensuring accurate documentation, status visibility, and alignment with operational requirements.

+ Oversee financial tracking, including budget monitoring, cost analysis, and reporting to support program decision-making.

+ Support pilot product implementation including planning, coordination, and execution of initial deployments.

+ Coordinate through teams to develop testing strategies, installation guidelines, and standard procedures to ensure consistency and quality in field implementation.

+ Coordinate procurement and ordering of cabinets, equipment, and required materials to support project timelines.

+ Drive timeline oversight and execution scheduling to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with program milestones.

+ Partner with cross-functional teams to define and refine processes, procedures, and scope requirements.

+ Provide on-site support during initial installations to validate execution, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to design and standards.

+ Lead discussions on maintenance strategies and battery supply management to ensure reliability and sustainability of deployed assets.

+ Collaborate with Lead Responsible Engineers (LREs) to review designs, perform redlining, and ensure scope accuracy and completeness.


Minimum Qualifications


+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or business discipline and 4-7 years utility industry experience OR in lieu of degree, 6-9 years of utility experience required.

+ Broad knowledge of company, department policies, objectives, strategies, and goals; function being managed; applicable governmental laws and regulations.

+ Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, ability to build consensus, negotiate, establish trust, communicate effectively, drive execution and ability to multitask.

+ Display business acumen, customer awareness and ability to create value.


Preferred Qualifications


+ MBA or Master’s degree in a business or S.T.E.M. field.

+ Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project management. Ability to analyze complex business processes and systems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets.

+ Certification as: Certified Associate in Project Mgmt (CAPM) OR Project Management Professional (PMP) OR Six Sigma Black Belt

+ Demonstrated strong analytical skills for project evaluation including analysis of complex projects with economic, financial, risk and decision analysis. Proficient in business case development and ability to effectively present business cases to business unit leadership.

+ Advanced experience in utility infrastructure, such as system analysis, planning, design coordination, standards development, or project execution.

+ A working knowledge of analysis software packages such as CYMDIST, PSSE, Python, PLS-CAD, Pole Foreman, Power BI, or similar

+ Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $92,800.00/Yr. – $127,600.00/Yr.
