Sr Business Systems Analyst

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with experience supporting Agile teams and cloud-hosted applications. This role will support a large-scale AWS cloud migration initiative and requires strong Medicare experience. Onsite in Columbia, SC is highly preferred, although hybrid and remote candidates may be considered.

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will serve as the liaison between business and technical teams, defining requirements and ensuring cloud solutions align with business objectives. This role will work closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders throughout the Agile development lifecycle.

Duties:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for cloud migration initiatives.

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation using Jira and Confluence.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, developers, testers, and technical teams.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and team presentations.

• Ensure proposed AWS cloud solutions meet business requirements and project objectives.

• Support testing activities by reviewing test plans, test matrices, requirements, and results.

• Identify business process improvements and provide direction for system changes.

• Support data governance, compliance, and cloud migration activities.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced analysts.

Qualifications:

• IT business analysis experience.

• Experience working as an Agile Business Analyst and/or Product Owner.

• Experience supporting cloud-hosted applications and cloud migration initiatives.

• Medicare experience required.

• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with TestRail and/or ALM.

• Strong requirements gathering, user story development, and business process analysis skills.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
