KEYS TO HIRE

Food Mfg industry exp - MUST (BIG plus if they come from Bakery)
Experience with commodity or ingredient purchasing subject to market pricing
Tactical purchasing experience required but this role will grow into more of a strategic sourcing role
Experience monitoring usage and leading data analytics
Progress toward CPSM, APICS/ASCM CPIM, or equivalent certification
Intermediate MS Excel experience - Formulas/Functions, Data Management, Reporting & Analysis, Formatting & Productivity

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to own the procurement of assigned categories. As a senior individual contributor, this role independently sources, negotiates, and manages purchasing for key ingredients and packaging categories, and serves as a technical resource and informal mentor to the purchasing team. The ideal candidate combines strong negotiation skills with deep purchasing knowledge and can operate with limited oversight in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
