Seeking a Senior Buyer to join a growing supply chain team in a remote role within the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
Supports manufacturing and distribution by managing inventory, processing purchase orders, and building vendor relationships. Collaborates with procurement, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing and process improvements.
Responsibilities include managing complex procurement activities, RFQs, multi-line purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining communication for order status and delivery schedules.
Requires 5+ years in purchasing or supply chain, proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, strong analytical and communication skills, and industry experience, preferably in wire and cable. A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred.
