Our client located in Brattleboro, VT is looking for a Sr. Buyer/Planner to join their growing team!

Your qualifications for the Sr. Buyer/Planner position are as follows:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or high school diploma with 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field
  • Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships
  • ERP proficiency
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing, preferably aerospace or defense industry, is a plus
Benefits you will receive as the Sr. Buyer/Planner:
 
  • $75K-$90K/year, depending on experience
  • Full-time, direct-hire opportunity
For the Sr. Buyer/Planner position your duties will include:
 
  • Foster strong relationships with new and existing suppliers; manage supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality, and cost commitments are met
  • Implement purchasing decisions of raw materials, components, and supplies to support production schedules and optimize inventory levels
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align procurement activities with customer and business objectives
  • Analyze market trends, supply risks, and cost drivers
  • Mentor Buyer/Planner team on procurement and supply chain best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other tasks as assigned
