Job Summary

Community Health Systems is hiring a CCL and Reporting Sr Analyst to join our EHR Team. As the CCL and Reporting Sr Analyst, you will be responsible for the technical planning and oversight of CCL. The CCL Sr Analyst will be installing/configuring Cerner Reports and CCL. Programs to ensure that projects are able to track KPI/Operational Reports and partner with the team on innovation projects that need additional CCL/SQL/HTM Programs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex CCL and Reporting issues, which would require a good understanding of networking database querying, and programming concepts. You are also expected to support project validation/testing/deployment/documentation during the life cycle of the project. This highly technical and hands-on position requires the incumbent to work in a team and individual work setting contributing to all aspects of the teams projects including design, needs analysis, design review, testing, implementation, and validation.

Essential Functions

  • The CCL and Reporting Sr Analyst, you will be responsible for the technical planning and oversight of KPI/Operational Reports and innovation projects that require additional CCL/SQL/HTML
  • Manage the complex technical projects in environments with a high degree of variability that require influence to achieve targeted outcomes
  • Configuration and management of reports and programs. Create project and process documentation for CCL/SQL/HTML Programs and Reports, Include filtering, message customizations, problem resolution, Root Cause Analysis, and alerting.
  • Consult with internal project stakeholders, Business Partners, and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests.
  • You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex CCL/SQL/HTML issues, which would require a good understanding of networking database querying. and programming concepts.
  • You are also expected to support project validation/testing/deployment/documentation during the life cycle of the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required
  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience including:
  • Experience with Cerner CCL
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with HTML
  • Experience with Cerner Cerner Millennium data architecture and the systems related tables
  • Proficient in Cerner Command Language (CCL) or SQL programming experience
  • Hands-on experience with Cerner Reporting, Cerner Programs, Discern Rules, Business Objects, DA2.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of system analysis, configuration management, and application lifecycle support.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex application issues and implementing effective technical and functional solutions.
  • Working knowledge of reporting tools, data analytics, and integration frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Skill in mentoring and knowledge-sharing with team members.
  • Understanding of IT governance, change management, and information security principles.
