Job Overview:

As a Civil / Landscape Project Engineer, you'll oversee the planning, design, and management of engineering projects including roads, water systems, sanitary sewers, and site plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze reports, maps, blueprints, and other data to design and plan projects
• Visit project sites to assess current conditions
• Calculate costs and assess project feasibility
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules, and designs
• Administer construction contracts and monitor work to ensure compliance with plans
• Utilize engineering software and equipment to develop solutions
• Work with survey crews to locate markers and gather necessary data

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to interpret and analyze technical documents
• Strong writing skills for effective report generation
• Proficiency in construction documentation and 3D modeling
• In-depth understanding of site development, industry trends, technology, and regulations
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Strong technical and project management abilities
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Expertise in AutoCAD and relevant software

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Professional engineering license required
• Valid driver’s license from Virginia
