Job Title: Sr Clerk, Accnts Payable

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for all Accounts Payable functions for all of our client's companies. This includes processing of vendor invoices & related month-end preparation of accruals, processing check requests, billing to the Funds, account reconciliations, and other duties as assigned.

The Senior Accounts Payable Clerk will:

• Perform accounts payable duties for all 7 of our client's entities
• Process all incoming invoices, check requests, and expense reports
• Onboarding vendors with W-9 collection, TIN validation, tracking 1099 eligibility, and managing annual 1099 filings.
• Working with various levels of business partners as a delegate to submit authorization requests for expenses reimbursable.
• Calculating unbilled AP accruals, preparing AP balance sheet reconciliations, and closing AP sub-ledger.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Proficiency in ERP accounting systems (Oracle preferred)
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication with vendors, department heads, and executive management.
• Critical thinking to research variances between POs, receiving records, and billed amounts independently.
• Prioritizing invoice batches, managing check runs, and meeting tight month-end/year-end close schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Accounting software knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics-GP preferred)
• Mortgage industry experience a plus
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
