  • Base salary ranges: $170k - $200k depending upon experience
  • Total compensation includes base salary and annual bonus targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in Automotive, Manufacturing, Industrial Products, Mobility, Heavy Equipment, Supply Chain, or related industries.
  • Experience in client relationship management, account management, consulting, strategic partnerships, or delivery-led business development.
  • Demonstrated success growing existing accounts through executive engagement, stakeholder expansion, and consultative opportunity development.
  • Strong understanding of Automotive and Manufacturing value chains, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Digital Manufacturing, and connected operations.
  • Ability to engage Director, VP, SVP, and CXO-level stakeholders in business and transformation discussions.
  • Working knowledge of Analytics, AI, Data Platforms, Cloud, Digital Transformation, and Operational Excellence services.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting pipeline creation, proposal development, and revenue expansion.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Good to Have

  • MBA or Master''s degree in Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Analytics, or General Management.
  • Prior experience with Automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, Industrial Manufacturing, Heavy Equipment, or Mobility organizations.
  • Experience working with or competing against analytics consulting, technology consulting, or BPO/digital operations firms.
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, connected operations, supply chain analytics, or AI-led operational transformation.
  • Existing relationships in Automotive, Manufacturing, or Industrial ecosystem networks.

The ideal candidate will bring domain credibility in Automotive, Manufacturing, Industrial Products, Mobility, or adjacent sectors, along with experience managing senior client relationships and leading consulting-led growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead account growth and client engagement efforts across strategic Automotive and Manufacturing accounts.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Engineering, IT, Digital, Data, and Analytics functions.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities within existing accounts and adjacent buying centers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders by connecting business priorities with EXL''s Analytics, AI, Data, Digital Transformation, and Operational Excellence capabilities.
  • Collaborate with delivery leaders, solution teams, and account leadership to shape account plans, solution narratives, proposals, and pursuit strategies.
  • Support executive workshops, value discovery sessions, account reviews, and transformation discussions.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure account expansion efforts are grounded in client outcomes, delivery credibility, and long-term relationship health.
  • Develop industry-specific viewpoints and practical solution themes relevant to Automotive and Manufacturing clients.
