We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help build, automate, and scale our client's enterprise Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Git/GitOps practices, automation, cloud security, and platform engineering.
The ideal candidate has deep GCP expertise and enjoys building scalable, secure, and developer-friendly cloud solutions that enable engineering teams to move faster while maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Implement and support Git and GitOps workflows to automate infrastructure deployment and management.
- Build and enhance cloud automation, self-service capabilities, and platform engineering solutions.
- Partner with development teams to design and support cloud-native applications and services.
- Establish and maintain cloud security, governance, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Support production environments and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Mentor team members and promote cloud engineering best practices across the organization.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to the cloud platform.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong experience with Git and GitOps methodologies.
- Experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, automation, networking, and operational best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.

- Experience with cloud governance and cloud platform standardization.
- Experience with Kubernetes and GKE.
- Experience with CI/CD automation and developer enablement.
- Experience with observability and monitoring solutions.
