Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing high-profile, complex commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, with ample opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of high-profile, complex commercial construction projects from initial planning stages through to completion and handover.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to younger project managers, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and ensuring these are met or exceeded.
• Manage relationships with general contractors, ensuring work is carried out to the required standards and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
• Use project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam to track progress, manage resources, and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project budgets and schedules, taking action to prevent overruns and delays.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Regularly report on project status to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing high-profile, complex projects.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing less experienced project managers.
• Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Experience managing relationships with general contractors, with a proven ability to resolve conflicts and issues.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong financial management skills, with experience managing project budgets and schedules.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are desirable.
