    Sr. Team Lead – Jacksonville, FL

    FinTrust Connect has partnered with a community-focused financial institution to identify top talent for the role of Market President. This search is ideal for an accomplished banking leader with a strong commercial orientation, a deep local network, and a track record of building high-performing teams and growing market presence.

The Market President serves as a visible leader internally and externally, partnering across business lines to deepen relationships and expand the institution's footprint.

    Requirements:

    • 8–15+ years of banking, commercial lending, or market leadership experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, or related field required
    • Formal banking school or advanced leadership training is a plus
    • Strong background in commercial banking, business development, and relationship management
    • Experience leading teams and driving performance across a local market
    • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, and portfolio management
    • Strong understanding of bank products, treasury solutions, and cross-functional partnership strategies
    • Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations and fair lending practices
    • Strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, and community engagement skills
    • Familiarity with the Jacksonville, FL / Duval County business community is strongly preferred

    Description:

    • Lead market growth initiatives focused on expanding commercial relationships, deposits, and overall revenue performance
    • Serve as the senior banking leader for the Jacksonville, FL / Duval County market, building the institution's visibility and reputation within the community
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, community leaders, centers of influence, and strategic partners
    • Partner with commercial bankers and other lines of business to identify opportunities and deliver tailored banking solutions
    • Drive a high-performance culture centered on business development, client service, collaboration, and accountability
    • Support the structuring and advancement of commercial credit opportunities in coordination with credit and underwriting partners
    • Monitor portfolio quality, market trends, and relationship performance to support sustainable growth
    • Collaborate with treasury management, wealth, retail, and other internal teams to deepen client relationships
    • Ensure market activities align with internal policies, risk standards, and all applicable state and federal regulations
    • Mentor and develop team members while strengthening leadership presence across the local market
    • Help resolve escalated client matters and ensure a high standard of responsiveness and service
    • Represent the institution at local business and civic events to strengthen community engagement and market influence
