Caterpillar has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Communications Specialist to join the Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD). In this role, you will serve as the primary communications partner for the Global Service team, helping translate complex service technology initiatives into compelling narratives that resonate across the enterprise and beyond.
You will play a key role supporting senior leaders and bringing to life the stories behind Caterpillar's dealer service strategy, technical dealer training, and dealer technician recruiting initiatives, helping stakeholders understand the critical role the Global Service team plays in developing the solutions that solve customer challenges.
This position requires someone who can quickly understand technical concepts, connect business strategy to outcomes, and create impactful communications that elevate the work of the Global Service team.
What You Will Do
Executive Partnership & Communications Advisory
Serve as the communications advisor for the Global Service leadership team in Caterpillar's Product Support & Logistics Division.
Develop communication strategies that support executive priorities and organizational objectives.
Provide counsel on messaging, communication risks, stakeholder considerations, and organizational impact.
Manage communication priorities, workflows, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
Internal Communications
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and advise on the suitability of approaches for communication efforts.
Track and analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
Create content for employee communication channels; ensuring that messaging and branding are consistent across all channels.
Develop and distribute communications materials, such as written communications, presentation materials, etc. to deliver key messages.
What Will Set You Apart
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Five or more years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, Executive Communications, or a related field.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
Proven ability to translate highly technical concepts into meaningful business narratives for non-technical audiences.
Experience supporting both internal and external communications (executive communications, thought leadership initiatives, speaking engagements, media opportunities).
Familiarity with generative AI tools and prompting techniques used for research, content creation, and communications planning.
Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across multiple regions is preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive business information.

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
