Sr. Construction Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to lead complex civil infrastructure and public works projects. This role is responsible for providing technical leadership, overseeing construction execution, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing project teams, guiding engineering decisions, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders in dynamic project environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and execution of complex construction and infrastructure projects
• Oversee engineering decisions, technical problem-solving, and field issue resolution
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall performance to ensure successful delivery
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Mentor and support junior engineers and project staff to promote development and project success
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and key milestones

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in construction engineering or project execution
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, infrastructure projects, and project controls
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or progression toward licensure
• Experience working with public agencies or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with construction management and scheduling software
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder relationships

Additional Details:

• Base Salary: $80,000 - $85,000
• Total Compensation (with bonus): Approximately $137,000 - $145,000
• Role includes a combination of office and field-based responsibilities
