Sr. Construction Manager

Multi-Site Field Oversight

• Accountable for field performance across multiple projects or large, complex concrete operations.
• Oversees field operations at scale; identifies systemic execution bottlenecks and deploys best practices across all sites.
• Ensures operational consistency in safety standards, quality execution, and crew productivity across all Suntec project sites.
• Partners with Operations leadership on resource deployment, workforce strategy, and field capacity planning.

Safety Leadership

• Drives a zero-incident safety culture across all projects under oversight; leads by example at every site visit.
• Coaches CM I and CM II on safety leadership behaviors, not just compliance requirements.
• Leads or participates in incident investigations; implements corrective actions at the company level.
• Ensures all PTPs, IWPs, job walks, and safety compliance requirements are consistently met across sites.

Quality Standards & Execution

• Establishes and enforces quality standards across all assigned projects.
• Trains CM staff on quality planning, document review, and alignment of field work with contract specifications.
• Identifies recurring quality gaps across the portfolio and implements systemic corrective procedures.
• Conducts quality walkthroughs on high-risk or high-value projects to verify standards are being upheld.

Workforce & Manpower Strategy

• Plans labor deployment across multiple projects; anticipates manpower constraints weeks in advance.
• Partners with Operations leadership and HR on workforce strategy, hiring, and field talent development.
• Ensures CM staff develop and maintain accurate manpower forecasts that support PM commercial planning.

Senior GC & External Relationships

• Manages senior GC relationships on high-profile or strategically important projects.
• Represents Suntec's field capabilities to GC leadership and owner representatives.
• Builds long-term GC relationships that strengthen Suntec's market position and support business development.

PM/CM Partnership Leadership

• The Senior CM models and coaches the CM/PM partnership culture across all assigned projects.
• When CM/PM friction arises, the Senior CM facilitates resolution and ensures both sides remain aligned to the shared project outcome. Talent Development & Team Leadership

• Develops CM I and CM II staff through coaching, stretch assignments, and structured performance feedback.
• Aligns field talent development with company growth needs; actively prepares successors for CM II and Senior CM roles.
• Identifies high-potential field leaders and partners with Operations leadership on succession planning.
• Contributes to hiring decisions, onboarding, and performance management for the CM team.
• Sets high performance standards across the field; holds self and team accountable to safety, quality, and production benchmarks.
• 8+ years of field leadership experience in commercial concrete or heavy civil construction
• Proven track record of managing large crews and complex concrete operations across multiple projects; demonstrated history of delivering exceptional field results
• Demonstrated experience developing field managers and building high performing construction teams
• Deep knowledge of concrete construction methods, safety compliance and quality execution
• Strong communication and relationship management skills at the GC leadership level
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and construction management software

The Senior Construction Manager is accountable for field performance across multiple projects or large, complex engagements. This orle sets the operational standard for Suntec's field execution, mentors CM I & CM II staff and ensures consistency in safety, quality and production across all sites under their oversight. The Senior CM drives a zero incident safety culture, represents Suntec's field capabilities at the highest levels of GC relationships and actively develops the field leadership talent that will sustain Suntec's growth. Like the Senior PM, this role is a force multiplier - delivering exceptional field results while building the team behind them.
