About the role

As a Senior Consulting Manager, Product- Transportation, Logistics & Supply Chain, you will make an impact by leading product strategy and delivery across complex transportation, logistics, and supply chain environments. You will combine industry expertise, client advisory, and hands-on product ownership to translate business priorities into scalable digital products and measurable operational outcomes.

You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy and Utilities Consulting team and work collaboratively with client leaders, business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, operations teams, and other Cognizant practices.

In this role, you will:

• Set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for transportation, logistics, and supply chain products, aligned to client and customer needs.
• Lead the product lifecycle end-to-end - from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization - to improve quality, speed, and business value.
• Own the product backlog, turning strategic priorities and customer insights into clear, sprint-ready user stories.
• Advise clients on product strategy, trade-offs, and emerging opportunities across transportation, warehousing, freight, and supply chain operations.
• Set testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards in partnership with engineering and operations teams.
• Build performance dashboards to track adoption, reliability, efficiency, and ROI.
• Lead cross-functional teams and run workshops that build alignment and speed up decision-making.
• Support proposal and business-development work that grows our transportation and supply chain practice.
• Coach product owners and consulting teams to build strong, consistent product management practices.
• Model the Cognizant Way to Lead - building trust, setting direction, and delivering results with a strong client focus.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a Hybrid position requiring three days in a client office in either Alpharetta, Georgia or Parsippany, New Jersey. What you must have to be considered

• 10-15 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or management consulting, including demonstrated leadership in transportation, logistics, or supply chain, with a track record of owning product vision and delivery.
• Deep transportation, logistics, and supply chain expertise - spanning TMS, WMS, freight, distribution, fulfillment, or last-mile delivery.
• Proven experience leading client-facing consulting engagements and advising senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile product delivery, from design through testing and release.
• Experience using product and operational metrics - such as service levels, order fulfillment, and ROI - to guide decisions.
• Ability to lead globally distributed, cross-functional teams with strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

These will help you succeed

• Experience in the courier, express, and parcel domain or related last-mile delivery operations.
• Experience across transportation management, warehousing and distribution, freight forwarding, supply chain planning, cold-chain logistics, customs and compliance, or inventory optimization.
• Knowledge of transportation and supply chain technologies, including TMS, WMS, EDI, APIs, IoT-enabled logistics, data platforms, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled product capabilities.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs within manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain consulting engagements.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

Compensation

$135,000- $158,500 annually

This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
