About the RoleThe Sr. Control Systems Design Engineer is responsible for the design of control systems. This includes a working knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Industrial Control Systems.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee development of complete electrical drawing packages using CAD software, such as control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, one-line diagrams, and loop diagrams, ensuring designs meet applicable standards.Develop control systems engineering documentation such as I/O lists, control narratives, cable schedules, and BOMs.Design and specify industrial instrumentation and control equipment.Select and specify components such as PLC hardware, VFDs, power supplies, etc.Participate in QA/QC Testing of Control Panels in our Panel Shop.Participate in jobsite and shop visits as required by project scope and department and/or project meetings.Consult with clients to conceptualize and deliver success.Interact with project managers, project team leads, other discipline leads, clients, contractors and other third parties.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree from an accredited university, or commensurate experience.PE License preferred.
