Sr. Controls Engineer (Siemens , TIA Portal , Logix 5000)
Location: Indianapolis, IN. / Lancaster, PA

Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Required Min. experience : 10+ Years

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with hands-on expertise in Allen bradleySiemensTIA Portal, and Logix 5000. As a Controls Engineer, you will design, program, and implement automation systems that drive efficiency and innovation in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement PLC and HMI solutions using Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Logix 5000 platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to develop customized automation solutions.
  • Commission, test, and validate system functionality on-site.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and system specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Siemens, TIA Portal, and Logix 5000 programming and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and communication protocols.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
