Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with hands-on expertise in Allen bradley, Siemens, TIA Portal, and Logix 5000. As a Controls Engineer, you will design, program, and implement automation systems that drive efficiency and innovation in industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement PLC and HMI solutions using Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Logix 5000 platforms.
- Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to develop customized automation solutions.
- Commission, test, and validate system functionality on-site.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and system specifications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Siemens, TIA Portal, and Logix 5000 programming and implementation.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and communication protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
