Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are integral to our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Performing financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decisions.
2. Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
3. Conducting variance analysis to understand differences between budgeted and actual figures.
4. Overseeing inventory control and conducting inventory analysis to optimize stock levels.
5. Performing cost analysis and manufacturing cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
6. Preparing, reviewing, and distributing monthly financial statements.
7. Ensuring compliance with financial accounting standards and company policies.
8. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve financial reporting.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior Cost Accountant position, you must possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting or a related role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, general ledger, account reconciliation, financial accounting, variance analysis, inventory control, and cost analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost analysis and inventory analysis.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
