Sr. Cost Accountant – Manufacturing (SAP S/4HANA required)Location: Valdosta, GAOn‑site (Monday‑Friday)Compensation: $120,000‑140,000/yearPosition SummaryThe Sr. Cost Accountant oversees end‑to‑end cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost control for a high‑volume glass production facility. This role partners closely with operations, supply chain and finance leadership to ensure accurate costing, strong inventory controls and actionable insights that improve efficiency and margins.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Costing & StandardsMaintain and update standard costs for materials and production processes within SAP S4 HanaReview BOMs and routings for accuracySupport new product costing and margin analysisInventory & Manufacturing AccountingEnsure accurate valuation of raw materials, WIP and finished goodsLead cycle counts and investigate discrepanciesCost Variance AnalysisAnalyze material, labor and overhead variancesDeliver insights to operations to improve performanceMonth‑End ClosePrepare inventory journal entries and reconciliationsSupport overall close activitiesMaintain cost structures and master data within SAP S4 HanaEnsure system accuracy and data integrityQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)CPA or CMA preferred7+ years of cost accounting—standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting (Required)SAP (S/4HANA) experience is required and implementation experience (Required)Advanced Excel preferredManufacturing industry preferredMust be able to commute daily on‑site to Valdosta, GA (Monday‑Friday); open to candidates interested in relocation#J-18808-Ljbffr
