CSA Designer Location: Baytown (in office three days a week, work from home the other two)Position Purpose:* Professional with high technical competency who participates in CSA projects and designers' teams.* Influences direction of complex brownfield projects and communicates with CSA department peers, with other engineering disciplines personnel and project managers.* Participates on projects in size up to $25mm.Skills and Qualifications: * Experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.* Experience with Structural design practices and materials (ie. steel, concrete).* Experience with Civil design practices and materials (ie. Subsurface pipes, paving, drainage, etc.).* Understanding of Industry design codes (i.e. ASCE, AISC, ACI, PIP, AASHTO etc.), or building code requirements (i.e. IBC).* Education: High school diploma, associate degree, or technical training.* Valid TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) or ability to obtain within 3 weeks upon employment initiation.* Ability to manage multiple priorities* Construction administration experience is desirable.* Knowledge of AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D and SPR.* Ability to perform field work, basic surveying, and inspection work in process areas.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Attention to detail and accuracy.If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
