Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Type: Direct Hire

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Data Analyst to support decision-making across clinical, operational, marketing, business development, and financial functions of the organization. This role supports stakeholders including radiologists, operations leaders, business development leadership, team members, and finance by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.

This is not a back-office reporting role. The ideal candidate is a strong dashboard developer and data storyteller who can connect metrics to outcomes and drive informed decisions.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Analytics & Reporting
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Develop dashboards supporting radiologist productivity, operational efficiency, marketing and business development performance, and financial metrics.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, intuitive, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
Business, Clinical & Operational Insights
  • Partner with radiologists and business leaders to analyze workflow, turnaround times, productivity, and quality indicators.
  • Support operations with insights related to staffing, throughput, capacity utilization, and performance trends.
  • Analyze marketing and business development data to evaluate campaign and outreach effectiveness and referral growth.
  • Evaluate market share data to determine growth opportunities, new entrants, and changes in market dynamics.
  • Evaluate market share data to determine growth opportunities (physical footprint, imaging modalities, referral trends, and professional services opportunities), new entrants, and changes in market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Finance to align operational metrics with financial outcomes.
Financial Analytics & Planning (FP&A)
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with Finance.
  • Perform basic variance analysis (actuals vs budget/forecast) and identify key drivers.
  • Build and maintain financial dashboards covering revenue, cost, and margin trends.
  • Support scenario and what-if analyses related to staffing, growth initiatives, and marketing investments.
  • Assist with service-line, modality, and referral-source financial analysis.
Data Storytelling & Communication
  • Translate analysis into clear narratives and executive-ready insights.
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Tailor communication style based on audience (clinical, operational, executive).
Data Management & Quality
  • Work with multiple data sources including clinical, operational, marketing, business development, and financial systems.
  • Validate data accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and document metric definitions.
  • Contribute to data governance and reporting standards.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI and Tableau.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Ability to tell compelling stories with data.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis concepts.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Big Bonus Points if you Have:
  • Experience in healthcare, radiology, imaging, or physician services.
  • Familiarity with EHR, RIS, PACS, CRM, or revenue cycle data.
  • Experience supporting finance or FP&A teams in an analytical capacity.
  • Exposure to forecasting, margin analysis, or profitability modeling.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $100,000 - $115,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
