Rezult Group continues to make great strides toward enhancing the technology services community nationwide. We are consistently looking for qualified professionals to join us in achieving success. Currently we are searching for a Sr Data Engineer to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy.




This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire role that sits fully onsite in Southeast, AL.




Day to day responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple enterprise source systems, including ERP, HCM, and operational platforms
  • Perform data modeling and prepare datasets for downstream consumption by analysts, reporting teams, and business stakeholders
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline failures — performing root cause analysis, developing solutions, and implementing fixes with minimal oversight
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data engineering solutions
  • Research and evaluate new data source integrations where no established extraction method currently exists — formulate a plan and present recommendations to leadership
  • Contribute to the ground-floor build of a modernized data warehouse environment, including potential cloud migration within the next 12 months

Position requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and data warehousing in a SQL-based environment
  • Proficiency with at least one enterprise data integration or pipeline tool — experience with Qlik Data Movement/Replicate, Talend, Informatica, Matillion, SSIS, or dbt strongly considered
  • Solid foundation in Microsoft SQL Server and data modeling concepts for analytical workloads
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally — this role requires active collaboration and presenting technical plans to non-technical audiences; not a heads-down solo position
  • Proven ability to self-direct on ambiguous problems — research independently, build a plan, and execute with confidence
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with a cloud data platform (Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or similar)
  • Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control for data pipelines
