    POSITION: Sr. Data Entry Operator

    ROLE SUMMARY

    Sigma Systems is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Entry Operator to provide front desk, administrative, and high-volume data entry support in an onsite environment. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and comfortable working with large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

    This role involves working with visitors and mail, completing basic enrollment and I-9-related forms, managing electronic files, preparing documents, and performing high-volume data entry at an average rate of 10,000+ keystrokes per hour.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform in-person front desk duties, including greeting and assisting visitors
    • Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail
    • Complete basic enrollment and I-9-related forms
    • Perform high-volume data entry with a target average of 10,000+ keystrokes per hour
    • Enter data for envelopes, labels, form letters, and correspondence
    • Access, update, and maintain information in computer databases
    • Perform basic electronic file management, including printing, copying, transferring, and deleting files
    • Format and produce documents using standard office software
    • Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
    • Review entered information and identify and correct errors
    • Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other computer applications
    • Operate standard office equipment, including photocopiers, fax machines, and binding machines
    • Follow established procedures, instructions, and workflow requirements
    • Maintain a professional and courteous presence when interacting with visitors and staff

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Previous experience in high-volume data entry, administrative support, or office operations
    • Strong typing and data entry skills with excellent accuracy
    • Ability to achieve and maintain approximately 10,000+ keystrokes per hour
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
    • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications
    • Ability to manage electronic files and perform basic document formatting
    • Ability to perform basic numerical calculations
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Professional demeanor when working with visitors, employees, and internal teams

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Previous front desk or reception experience
    • Experience handling I-9 or enrollment-related forms
    • Experience working in a high-volume administrative environment
    • Familiarity with electronic file management and database systems
    • Experience operating standard office equipment
    • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
    • Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance
