About The CAM Collective
The CAM Collective (TCC) is a specialized advisory and operations firm focused on community association management (CAM) transitions. Our team moves fast, operates with precision, and is building the infrastructure to scale.
Data & Automation | Remote / Hybrid | Full-Time — $150,000 base + 12–15% performance bonus
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role at the center of TCC's data infrastructure: designing and building an internal automation tool that transforms how deals are processed, owning current-state data mapping across multiple source systems, and directly managing a Data Analyst. It's a rare opportunity to architect something from the ground up with real operational impact from day one.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain a proprietary automation tool that streamlines the CAM deal data pipeline from intake through closing
- Own current-state data mapping across all source systems involved in deal transitions (property management platforms, CRM, financial systems, association records)
- Develop and document data transition pathways for each deal, ensuring accurate data movement between systems
- Partner with the TAAS Director to define data standards, naming conventions, and integration protocols across the deal portfolio
- Manage the Data Analyst — setting priorities and workload, reviewing data mapping output for accuracy, and providing mentorship and technical development
- Serve as the data and automation partner to both Project Managers, translating deal-level requirements into data tasks
- Maintain a master data dictionary and living system integration map while identifying and eliminating manual, repetitive data processes
- QA automation tool output and iterate rapidly based on deal learnings
Requirements
What We're Looking For (Required)
- 5+ years of experience in data integration, data engineering, or automation, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
- Proven experience building automation tools or workflows using Python, SQL, ETL pipelines, or low-code/no-code platforms
- Strong background in data mapping and multi-system data migration or integration
- Ability to translate operational business requirements into technical data solutions
- Experience managing or mentoring junior data team members
- Strong documentation skills, producing clear, usable artifacts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have
- Experience with property management, real estate, or HOA/CAM platforms (e.g., CINC, Vantaca, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar)
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Comfort working in a startup-like environment where the roadmap evolves

- Direct line to senior leadership and meaningful influence on how the business scales
- Opportunity to build a team as deal volume grows
