Join a development team building and supporting Microsoft SQL Server solutions across production and development environments. This senior-level role focuses on database development, performance, security, and integration while providing technical guidance to less experienced team members.
What You'll Do
Design scalable SQL Server databases, data models, and schemas.
Develop and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune database performance.
Implement database security, access controls, encryption, and auditing.
Partner with developers on data integrations and ETL pipelines.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship as needed.
What We're Looking For
5+ years developing Windows and/or web-based SQL applications.
Advanced Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedure, and performance tuning experience.
Experience managing multiple SQL Server databases in large environments.
Strong knowledge of .NET and legacy applications that interact with SQL.
Working knowledge of Entity Framework and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
