What We Do

The Default Loan Servicing Specialist – Asset Management serves as a cross‑functional, utility‑style specialist supporting all facets of REO liquidation across USDA, VA, and Asset channels, while also providing coverage for FHA Post Sale workflows.

Candidates selected for this role must be comfortable working on a hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

REO Liquidation Support (USDA, VA, Asset)

  • Assist with REO activation processes and MSP updates.
  • Coordinate occupancy checks, broker assignments, and valuation ordering.
  • Monitor preservation requirements and vendor communications.
  • Support Cash‑for‑Keys workflows for occupied REO assets.
  • Review valuations and support claim processes.
  • Manage REO closing workflows.

FHA Post Sale Workflow Coverage

  • Support FHA conveyance timelines and HUD claim readiness.
  • Assist with CWCOT/2nd Chance reviews and auction coordination.
  • Monitor eviction status and coordinate with legal teams.
  • Support Title Curative reviews.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate loan documentation across MSP and related repository systems.
  • Ensure compliance with investor, insurer, and agency guidelines.
  • Apply updates from policy and regulatory changes.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Support multiple teams depending on operational demand.
  • Communicate risks, status updates, and escalations.
  • Participate in audits, QC, and billing rule refinement.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Education, Experience, Licensure and Certifications

  • 2–3 years experience in property preservation, REO, asset management, or default servicing.
  • Familiarity with USDA, VA, and FHA post‑sale processes.
  • Strong knowledge of MSP, LoanSphere, Yardi/P260, FHA Connection.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience handling multiple loan types.
  • Vendor oversight experience.
  • Understanding of REO valuation methodologies.

Pay Range: $28.09 - $37.44 Hourly

 

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
