    The North America Stores Creative team is seeking a Sr. Designer to focus on our Online Grocery creative team, driving digital-first creative solutions through automation, AI integration, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for executing high-quality, customer-facing work for Amazon Grocery across all online marketing channels, contributing to a cohesive brand identity and maintaining a high bar for creative assets. This role requires strong craft expertise in food photography, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead projects from brief to delivery while partnering cross-functionally to produce impactful marketing deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and leverages experimentation and performance data to inform their approach.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Strong design craft and expertise, including motion & animation design experience

    • Ability to deliver brand-compliant digital solutions aligned to project requirements and business objectives

    • Ability to lead projects from brief to delivery and manage multiple workstreams

    • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with copywriter, marketing partners and channel owners

    • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the retail ecommerce space and different channel strategies

    • Ability to use performance data and testing insights to inform design decisions

    • Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to present concepts and finished work to stakeholders

    • Awareness of emerging design trends and GenAI innovations

    • Experience contributing to or maintaining brand style guides and playbooks

    • Experience driving creative innovation projects and presenting to internal teams

    • Familiarity with process improvement and streamlining creative delivery workflows

    The Amazon North America Creative team is responsible for crafting bold, efficient, and breakthrough marketing content to reach and resonate with today's audience. We aspire to meet customers wherever they may be—on social media, on their phones and devices, across the site, in their inboxes—and provide easy ingresses to the site via beautiful, inclusive, inspiring, and innovative content.     Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years of design experience

    • Bachelor's degree in visual communications, graphic design, or a related field

    • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

    • An online portfolio demonstrating visual communication skills, including typography, color, and digital executions

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity

    • Experience presenting design concepts and rationale to stakeholders

    • Experience with motion design (After Effects or similar tools)

    • Familiarity with web production workflows or post-production retouching

    • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices

    • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

    The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
