Medline Industries, LP is seeking Sr Developer Analyst IT to join our team in Northbrook, IL.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of new or existing applications, systems, programs, or software including documentation, testing and collaborating with business users to understand requirements and translating into technical solutions.
• Analyse customer needs and design technical solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Solve complex problems; act as escalation point for IS team members.
• Take a new perspective on existing solutions to troubleshoot and support all deployed software.
• Identify and resolve complex issues with sustainable solutions.
• Provide advantages and disadvantages of potential solutions.
• Resolve issues and errors and improve performance and security as needed in a timely manner.
• Assess the impact of specific business process.
• Identify and design systems/architecture/processes that enhance the business' value.
• Translate the interrelationship of systems, and prioritization of issues based on impact to business and department.
• Handle conflict across teams.
• Deliver feedback to team members.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including senior leaders and executives.
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders with minimal dependency from Lead or Manager; act as a primary contact for all domains.
• Evaluate application and program modifications to ensure solutions align with business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with end user and product owners to prototype, refine, test, and debug as needed.
• Contribute to and promote the continuous improvement of all software development practices.
• Engage in continuous improvement of one’s own skill set, both technical and non-technical.
• Maintain an understanding of software development industry trends and best practices and promote their introduction to the company as applicable.
• Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3 days per week.

Job Requirements:

• PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field, or its foreign equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience.
• In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Programming languages including Java or .NET for designing, writing, testing, debugging, and documenting new or modified software applications, and developing technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements; (2) Working with SQL / relational database technologies including SQL for analyzing, designing, and troubleshooting data structures and data flows, support system integrations, and ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability across enterprise applications; (3) Using system integration and API-based development (REST/SOAP) for designing, implementing, and supporting integrations between applications and enterprise systems, enabling secure and reliable exchange of data that supports business processes.; (4) Working within Version Control Systems including Git for managing source code, tracking changes, supporting collaborative development, and maintaining software quality throughout the software development life cycle; (5) Using software development life cycle methodologies for researching, planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and continuously improving high-quality software while adhering to company standards for security, performance, and resiliency; and (6) Prioritizing / organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.

WORK HOURS:         Full Time (8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday)

PAY RANGE:             $153,317.00 to $153,317.00 per year
