About The Role:
As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll partner with the Head of DevOps and a skilled engineering team to advance automation and strengthen our DevOps ecosystem. You'll build internal tools, optimize workflows, enhance monitoring, and improve our continuous delivery pipeline.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as primary client liaison, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues with speed and precision.
- Build and maintain robust system monitoring for performance and uptime.
- Design and implement scalable, tech-driven solutions.
- Automate processes with scripting to boost efficiency.
- Manage Linux environments, SSH tunneling, DNS, and networking; provision infrastructure with Terraform.
- Integrate monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing across services.
- Oversee deployments across dev, staging, sandbox, and production.
- Deliver DevOps support and automation for smooth releases.
- Architect secure, scalable infrastructure; define best practices for Docker and Kubernetes.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in DevOps/SRE with strong proven hands-on expertise.
- 5–7 years of hands-on technical work.
- Designed high-availability databases and large-scale systems.
- Built microservices, automated deployments, and managed infrastructure.
- Proficient in Python, Golang, or JavaScript; skilled in Bash/PowerShell scripting.
- Developed CI/CD pipelines and internal package repositories.
- Experienced with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, DataDog, New Relic).
- Strong communicator, highly organized, and proactive in fast-paced environments.
