Reports to: VP, Talent and People Experience
About the Opportunity
Slalom is building the consulting workforce of the future - and this role leads it.
As Senior Director of AI-Powered Consulting Excellence , you will define how Slalom's consultants learn, grow, and show up for clients in an AI-enabled world. This is a business-critical leadership role at the intersection of consulting excellence, AI-driven capability development, and enterprise people strategy. You will sit at the table with senior consulting leaders - shaping how Slalom's talent performs and wins in the market.
You will lead a team delivering AI-powered learning, consulting and capability development, onboarding and early career experiences, culture and belonging programs, and coaching ecosystems across Slalom's global workforce. The programs are high-impact and scaling. Your job is to keep them moving forward - accelerating adoption, deepening integration with client work, and continuously raising the bar on what great consulting capability looks like.
This role is part of the TAPE leadership team, reporting to the VP of Talent & People Experience, and sits alongside the heads of People Solutions, People Technology, Leadership Development, and Executive Talent Management.

What We're Looking For
AI Fluency - Demonstrated
A track record of using AI to meaningfully change how people work and develop - in consulting, professional services, or a comparably complex, skills-intensive environment. Enough technical depth to lead credible conversations with practitioners, shape vendor decisions, and build AI into the fabric of how your function operates.
Consulting Credibility
Significant experience in professional services - either as a consultant or deeply embedded in consulting delivery, operations, or capability. You understand utilization, pursuit cycles, client relationships, and delivery pressure. Senior consulting leaders trust your judgment because you've lived the work.
Strategic & Analytical Acumen
Proven ability to connect talent strategy to business outcomes using workforce data, market insights, and commercial signals. You think in systems, design at enterprise scale, and make capability investment decisions that hold up under scrutiny.
Executive Influence
A track record of shaping enterprise priorities through insight and credibility. You're comfortable in ambiguity, confident setting direction, and skilled at aligning stakeholders who have competing priorities and full calendars.
People & Capability Leadership
Experience leading development functions where success is defined by workforce performance - not program metrics. You know how to design at scale, measure what matters, and build systems that survive contact with a large, distributed, client-facing organization.
