Sr. Director, Centralized BI & Stores Intelligence Product Management

The Role
The Sr. Director leads two production-critical portfolios: Centralized BI , a horizontal reporting service serving all three journeys (Customer, Product, Enterprise), and Stores Intelligence , the insights and analytics layer serving store employees across Gap's physical retail footprint. This is a product leadership role at the intersection of modern BI, agentic AI, and enterprise-scale data products.

The person in this seat will define and execute the roadmap for self-service analytics, AI-powered insights, and emerging agentic BI capabilities built on Gap's Vertex AI / Gemini platform. They will lead a distributed team spanning San Francisco, Coppell TX, and Hyderabad (HDC), and will hold peer-level relationships with journey leads across Customer, Product, and Enterprise.

What You'll Do

• Own the product roadmap for Centralized BI and Stores Intelligence, including AI-assisted reporting, agentic BI capabilities, and self-service data access across all three journeys
• Lead the integration of LLM-powered features (natural language query, automated narrative generation, anomaly surfacing) into production BI products
• Partner with the Vertex AI / Gemini platform team to ensure BI products are built on Gap's governed AI foundation
• Drive the consolidation of Enterprise Reporting into Centralized BI while maintaining service continuity across journey stakeholders
• Manage a distributed team of product managers, journey leads, and HDC execution partners; develop talent and build for scale
• Translate complex, multi-stakeholder business requirements into prioritized roadmaps and delivery plans
• Operate as a senior business partner to field leadership (Stores), journey leads (Customer, Product, Enterprise), and GTS platform teams

Who You Are

• 12+ years in technology, with 7+ years in enterprise BI, data products, or analytics platform product management
• Demonstrated experience building or leading AI-augmented analytics products including familiarity with LLM integration patterns (RAG, agentic workflows, NLQ) in a BI or data context
• Hands-on experience with modern BI platforms (Power BI required), cloud data platforms (GCP/Vertex preferred), and the shift from static reporting to conversational and agentic analytics
• Strong product instincts: can hold a roadmap conversation with a senior leadership and a data engineer in the same day
• Proven ability to lead distributed, cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships at SVP level and above
• Comfortable operating in a transformation environment with equal parts strategic clarity and execution discipline
• Retail or consumer industry experience preferred
