Location: Geneva, IL (Hybrid – 50% in-office)
Reports to: VP of Finance / Corporate Controller
Team: 1 Direct Report

Salary: $165k-$175k

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis across the organization. This is a high-impact role partnering closely with executive leadership, shaping financial strategy, and driving performance in a dynamic, private equity-backed environment.

What You’ll Do

Lead FP&A Strategy

• Own and drive company-wide FP&A processes including annual planning, budgeting, and rolling forecasts
• Deliver executive-level reporting and support lender communications

Drive Performance & Insights

• Establish and refine KPIs and performance metrics across the organization
• Provide actionable decision support to senior leadership

Enhance Systems & Processes

• Optimize financial systems, tools, and workflows
• Leverage Vena EPM to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop FP&A talent, including mentoring and coaching a junior team member

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience in complex, multi-dimensional environments
• Proven experience in private equity-backed companies
• Background supporting both product-based and service-oriented business models
• Hands-on experience with Vena EPM (strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor team members
• Strong business partnership mindset with exceptional analytical and communication skills
