Responsibilities/Job Description:
The Senior Director has primary operational responsibility and accountability for eight business functions within the Ambulatory and Surgery Center: (1) Excellence and Care Delivery, (2) Customer and Support Services, (3) Finance and Accounting, (4) Marketing, Sales and Physician Relationships, (5) Human Resources, (6) Compliance and Risk Management, (7) Surgical Services, and (8) Gastroenterology. Specific duties include coordination, consistency, and integration in the operation of each accountable area, development and implementation of policies & procedures, budgeting and leading and/or participating in improvement projects/teams. Serves as a leader to all medical staff, surgery center, gastroenterology, endoscopy, OR and Anesthesia related business activities and marketing efforts. Encourage continued harmonious relations with nursing staff to establish and maintain close practice and identify and follow established written surgery center procedures and policies.
The Senior Director works closely with the Vice Presidents, Service Line Directors, Supervisors, and Staff to execute established business processes; seeking, assessing, and leveraging process improvement opportunities and, ensuring that business activities are aligned with and result in achievement of the organizations strategic objectives. The Senior Director must be a champion for process improvement and will serve as an engaged and active partner with the Perioperative Enterprise Domain representing the Ambulatory Service Center. Required Qualifications
- M.A./M.S. in Leadership, Business Administration, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5 years in healthcare
- 5 years progressive management
- Ability to communicate effectively in front of large groups.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize a broad range of data elements.
- Ability to work effectively with and integrate interests of multiple disciplines.
- Ability to develop and nurture physician relationships in a variety of practice areas, including Perioperative, Orthopedics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Pediatrics, etc.
- Demonstrated skills in human resources management, interpersonal communications, financial management, risk management, regulatory compliance and program development.
- Entrepreneurial and market orientation including high customer service orientation.

- Experience in strategic planning, business development, Perioperative Services, and innovation
