Role and Responsibilities
The Sr. Director of Regional Sales for Digital Appliances is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets for the Regional/Power Dealer Channel. This role focuses on managing regional sales operations, building strong relationships with retail partners and customers, and ensuring the successful execution of business-to-consumer (B2C) sales initiatives for digital appliances.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the digital appliances market.
Analyze regional market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Lead and mentor a team of regional sales professionals to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge specific to digital appliances.
Monitor and analyze regional sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges specific to the region.
Stay updated on digital appliance product features, benefits, and market positioning to effectively communicate with customers and partners.
Provide product training to the sales team and retail partners within the region.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align regional sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability within the region.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand regional customer preferences and competitive landscape.
Develop actionable insights to drive regional sales initiatives and improve market share.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 14 years of experience in regional sales management or a similar role, preferably in the digital/home appliances industry.
Strong leadership, existing customer relationships and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Knowledge of digital appliances market trends and customer behavior.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the consumer electronics or digital appliances industry.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
Advanced knowledge of market analysis techniques and regional sales strategies.
